Hello Stephan and all other Western Washington residents!

I have recently found this site and would love to help with getting more Cascadians involved in fellowship in the mountains. Anyone else who is interested is welcome to contact me at OliMerKei@Yahoo.com.
My two daughters and I live in Redmond.
We get out backpacking and climbing several times every summer.

WE WOULD LOVE YOUR FELLOWSHIP!

Blessings,
Keith

God's gifts are more understandable when I think about how I love my daughters.
I have two daughters, Olivia and Meredith. I used to carry Olivia in the backpack and Meredith in a front snugly. It was about 50 lbs the last time I did it and gave it up with sadness. But then I got a twin jogger with a rainfly. We live in Redmond near Seattle. I would come home from work and ask, "Who wants to go see the animals?" And there would be happy faces running to get their coats on. We live near a ...

Liberty Ridge is a great trip! You ARE going early, especially for a heavy snow year.
Do not dally on the Carbon as I have seen avalanches sweep the route in June.

Re: Placing New Testaments in Lean-to or shelters 2/5/2008 10:20:04 PM   (Total replies: 0)
I like the idea of finding a Bible in a lean-to but so do rodents. It would have to be in a canister, or metal box, etc.
And there is the risk of theft.... Just kidding.

EastLake Community Church in Western WA 2/5/2008 10:14:15 PM   (Total replies: 0)
This is a fast growing church of young people who have chosen to follow Jesus Christ.
The music is loud and seems like a rock&roll concert at times.
I love it.

The faith is real and the message profound.

There are a few of us older folks too. No one seems to mind.

Currently we meet in the Kirkland Jr High but will soon move to our newly leased building in East Bothell (a little north and east of Seattle).

Come by, rock out, worship, eat some treats, ...

Hey, I get out a lot and have been climbing for 35 years. If you live near Redmond or are coming this way sometime, ping me here and we can climb. I have two daughters (10 & 12) who backpack and climb and I get out on my own a lot.

Rainier with my 12 year old, June 27-30 is on the calendar.
I also do alpine, crags, backpacking etc.

Blessings!

Keith
