Greetings fellow members on the left coast!

I've noticed we have six or seven members in the general area of Seattle. I am greatly encouraged to serve you as the coordinator for the Cascade chapter. We will have a meeting on the first weekend of December, so mark it on your calenders. Location TBD, but will mail everyone within the week. Also, just to get a feel of where everyone is from, throw out some ideas for a meeting place. I'm in Bonney Lake, but am willing to travel ...

All right ladies and gentlemen. Here we go:

Looking forward to seeing you there!!

That is a great idea!! I think it would be acceptable. If it were truly leave no trace, the shelter wouldn't be there.

Yeah, I was a bit confused on where I should have posted for the Cascade chapter thread.
Chapter news would be a great addition, as well as a partner heading. Also maybe headings for trip reports for the major ranges ( smaller areas included) throughout?

Glad to hear you finally got some this season. Hoping to get some up here around the new year, if the baby doesn't come by then.

Prayer 12/13/2005 8:04:21 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Good morning everyone. I have a prayer request: My wife has been having contractions the last week or so, and she is supposed to have the baby in another 6 weeks. She was given a shot to subside the contractions, then given some pills if they came back. The last few days, shes been pretty sick; the docs think she might be dehydrated. Needless to say, she has been put on bedrest, and she is not a bedrest person.

We are definately excited about our new baby on the way, but would like ...

It has been a while since I last posted, but I just want to thank everyone that prayed for Stacy and I while awaiting the birth of our first one.

Born February 2nd, 5:37pm at St. Joseph Hospital, Tacoma Washington:
Wyatt Andrew Haller, 8lbs. 12.5 ounces, 21.5 inches.

All of your prayers helped Stacy and I make it through this. She went through 26 hours of labor, 2 tries at the vacuum and ended up going through a C-section. We are very joyous and blessed with our new ...

Re: Wanted --retired climbing ropes for furniture project 11/24/2005 8:34:50 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Hey there Todd,

I've got a rope I need to retire. I've climbed hard on it for about 4 years now. It still seems in great shape, but its probably a smart idea to retire it and get a new one.

By the way, do any of you use twin ropes for alpine stuff? Was thinking of going with the floss to save weight on the longer approaches.
